Environmental and social sustainability is ProTeak`s main dedication. Their mission is to provide a better alternative to teak products from Southeast Asia. They have been awarded an FSC certification, and six thousand acres of adjacent tropical forests have been preserved in addition to their planted areas. With sixteen thousand acres of carefully managed land, ProTeak`s plantations house more than four million trees. The CO2 captured by the plantations on a daily basis, amounts to what`s being emitted by twenty million cars.

Since much of the world`s teak comes from Southeast Asia, freight emissions are also reduced thanks to ProTeak`s closer plantations, at Mexico`s Pacific coast. Proteak`s commitment to sustainability and quality has made them one of the largest teak growers in the western hemisphere.
